Wellborn Farms is a small, family-owned farm located in Sheridan, Wyoming, founded and operated by Hanne Wellborn, a wildlife biologist passionate about regenerative agriculture and traditional food preservation. Specializing in handcrafted fermented foods—particularly sauerkraut, mustards, and garlic products—Wellborn Farms creates nutrient-dense, probiotic-rich foods in small batches using carefully sourced ingredients. The farm also raises and butchers pasture-raised meat chickens and lambs (available by pre-order) and offers fresh, seasonal produce straight from their Sheridan farm.

All fermented foods are created through traditional lacto-fermentation, which supports gut health, boosts immunity, and provides naturally occurring probiotics. Wellborn Farms sources ingredients carefully, using mineral-rich salt from Utah that contains beneficial minerals without added chemicals. Their meat chickens are raised on pasture in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and fed a locally grown, soy-free grain mix from a family farm in Hardin, Montana. Everything is crafted with intention, rooted in heritage traditions and a commitment to community connection.
