Fontana Candle Co is a family-owned beeswax candle company founded in 2018 by husband-and-wife team Katie and Eric Roering in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After receiving a paraffin wax candle as a holiday gift that made Katie sick, Eric began researching healthier alternatives and became passionate about creating truly non-toxic candles. What started as a basement hobby—formulating and pouring candles to give as gifts to family and friends—has grown into a 6,500 sq ft warehouse operation serving thousands of customers nationwide, all while remaining 100% family-owned with no outside investors.
