Puresteel

Puresteel is an Austin, TX-based company building completely plastic-free kitchen appliances, starting with a drip-style coffee maker. Founded by a former SpaceX engineer, Puresteel was born from frustration with so-called "stainless steel" coffee makers that still use hidden plastic valves, tubes, and reservoirs that leach microplastics into every brew.

What Makes Them Clean

• 100% plastic-free and silicone-free — every component that contacts water or coffee is medical-grade 304 stainless steel or glass
• No hidden plastics — unlike competitors, even fittings and connectors are metal or glass
• No PFAS, PFOA, Teflon, or non-stick coatings of any kind
