Davids Natural Toothpaste

Davids Natural Toothpaste was founded in 2011 by Eric Buss, who became concerned about the ingredients he was putting in his mouth twice a day. After researching common toothpaste ingredients and finding many to be controversial or suboptimal for health, Eric couldn't find a better alternative on the market—so he spent four years obsessively developing his own. The result is a fluoride-free, SLS-free toothpaste made with premium USA-origin ingredients, packaged in a recyclable metal tube instead of plastic.

What started in a small 1,800 square-foot facility with Eric hand-mixing batches has grown into a trusted brand available in over 10,000 stores across the United States and internationally, including Whole Foods and Target. Davids remains family-owned and operated by Eric Buss, who named the company after his middle name (because "Eric's Toothpaste" didn't have the same ring—and because it represents David vs. Goliath, taking on the toothpaste industry giants). In 2025, Davids celebrated its 10-year anniversary and launched its Hydroxi™ line featuring nano-hydroxyapatite, a fluoride-free remineralizing alternative backed by dental science.
