Primitive House Farm

Primitive House Farm is a family-owned and operated business located in Saco, coastal southern Maine, founded in 2002 by mother-daughter duo Nancy and Meg (Meghan). For over 17 years, this small farm has focused on making natural home goods and skincare products using time-honored traditions. The farm specializes in handmade products inspired by the sea and coastal farm living, drawing from the rich minerals and beneficial ingredients of Maine's coast, as well as the serenity and natural beauty of their farm.

The farm uses its own fragrant herbs, lush florals, and rich botanicals in products whenever possible, and when they can't grow ingredients on the farm, they hand-select the best-possible items from farmers and suppliers whose naturally-sourced values support their own. Their signature Sea Salt line—made with Dead Sea salt since 2002—has become beloved by customers for its ocean-inspired scent and skin-softening properties. A portion of profits goes to animal welfare charities around the world, supporting neglected and abused animals.
