Rafter M Farm and Dairy is a small, family-owned 40-acre farm located on the north side of Cohoe on the Kenai Peninsula in Kasilof, Alaska. Operated by Travis Miller and family, this independent farm specializes in A2A2 raw dairy shares, grass-fed beef, free-range eggs, and fresh seasonal produce. The farm maintains a closed herd of purebred and Jersey-cross dairy cows, all genome-tested and confirmed A2/A2 producers, providing milk that many find easier to digest due to the gentler A2 beta-casein protein.
Committed to regenerative agriculture practices, Rafter M Farm rotationally grazes their cattle to build soil health, increase organic matter, sequester carbon, and prevent overgrazing. Their beef cattle (Angus and Angus/Hereford crosses) are pasture-raised all summer on fresh grass and fed locally grown Alaska barley, oats, peas, and non-GMO alfalfa pellets in winter—with no vaccinations, hormones, or antibiotics. The dairy cows follow their own separate rotational grazing plan and are fed Alaska-grown Delta barley, black oil sunflower seeds, non-GMO alfalfa pellets, and locally grown hay with no corn or soy.
