Sitka Seafood Market (formerly Sitka Salmon Shares) is an independent community-supported fishery founded in 2012 by Nic Mink in partnership with Alaskan fishermen. The company connects consumers directly with small-boat, hook-and-line fishermen harvesting wild seafood from the pristine waters of Southeast Alaska.
Each fish is processed and individually frozen at sea or dockside within hours of harvest—far fresher than "fresh" fish at a grocery store. No farmed fish, no antibiotics, no additives.
