Tussock Sedge Farm is southeastern Pennsylvania's largest pasture-based, regenerative agriculture farm, with a history dating back to 1941 when the Hockman family purchased the property and started a dairy operation with an onsite glass bottling facility. Today, the farm operates as an independent family business focused on producing the highest quality, most nutrient-dense pasture-raised foods while enhancing the surrounding ecosystem and nourishing the local community.
The farm specializes in 100% grass-fed A2/A2 Jersey cow genetics, producing raw organic milk and handcrafted raw milk cheese aged at temperatures never exceeding 102°F (cow body temperature) to preserve beneficial enzymes and nutrients. Their cattle, along with pasture-raised lamb, pork, chicken, and turkey, all graze on regeneratively managed pastures. The farm also partners with Swiss Villa to offer locally produced raw milk, maintaining their commitment to transparency and quality throughout their supply chain.
